I work 7-7 all weekend every weekend.

If those are Summer hours they can go sit on one of those 3ft prop Crayola crayons.
Yeah, **** those hours...unless it's some overtime pay.
Every year, once it starts getting nice out, I watch as 95% of the Loop leaves at 3pm, but my managers say we can't because we have West Coast clients.
West Coast. The Worst

No overtimes, just terrible hrs. Oh well I usually get 3 days off during the week, but it's...in the middle of the week when nothing is going on/no one with a normal M-F gig wants to get schwacked.

Samesies. Everyone will probably have left by the time I get down there.

I'll be there early, per usual. :D

I was able to sample the SP La Fosse when Phil was there taking notes for that article, and can confirm it's baller as ****...Fou'Foune killer. Lots of great beers on-tap during the day with some fun surprises that are TBD. I donated the keg of LA Gift of the Magi Kriek for the event, so I hope anyone going will get to enjoy that one...it's a 1/2bbl but there's maybe 1/3 left. I told Kate & Tom to do smaller pours to spread the love a bit.

Hope to see you all there!

1/3rd of a 1/2 barrel is just about a Sixtel so that should be good. Better question, is it good?

Cheers!

I had Tom & Kate tap it just to try it and make sure it was alright and they said it was excellent (I wasn't able to make it up there to sample). Looking forward to revisiting it on Friday!

LA Fosse and Ice Predator are my two must ticks of the event.

The rapid fire tappings are cool.

The site says cash only. So glad I saved up a bunch of vacation time. Guessing lines are going to start crazy early, a.m bottle share in line anyone?

I don't think anyone needs to get there crazy early...let's not turn this into a #BeerBro event. You should easily get to try everything you want at 11am...started to get busy later in the afternoon last year. Plenty of bartenders/servers to help and they are always on-point.

Also, don't share beer on Chicago public sidewalks. Asking for trouble.
