i suppose they can afford to raise prices five dollars if you have what amounts to a guaranteed, instantaneous sellout if there's even a rumour of a bourbon county variant of any kind appearing. hope these new guys pleasantly surprise us all.

I went 2 years ago (or maybe 3?) and all I did was hang out in front of the BCBS variants. They had 3 variants I believe (mexican hot chocolate, and 2 others I can't remember now).

Anyone heard anything about Westbrook coming into Chicago? People are saying Table Beer is at Vav's on BA. I would love this, especially that Gose!!!!

Regarding Goose's new "year-round, national offering within the popular Pale Ale craft beer segment", 312 Urban Pale Ale it looks like... yup, two 312's on the market. They're even releasing them in 16oz. 4-packs. Hoo-ray. They're participating in an AMA - I hope they get trolled pretty hard because crap like this shouldn't stand:
“Our Chicago fans gave us the inspiration to brew 312 Urban Pale Ale,” says Brett Porter, Goose Island Brewmaster. “Their incredible, ongoing support for Green Line motivated us to develop a Pale Ale that everyone in the U.S. can enjoy.”

As with its exceedingly accessible and award-winning 312 Urban Wheat Ale, 312 Urban Pale Ale was brewed for those looking to enjoy another great Goose Island beer with their active lifestyle.

And if their release calendar is correct, no more Pere Jacques and no more Pere Nero (to which I say, "eh" - I liked Pere Jacques a lot more before they re-formulated it and brought the ABV down to its current level). We are getting The Ogden (Belgian tripel) and an Imperial Stout. The Illinois (DIPA) appears to be hitting shelves now.

The lack of Night Stalker is extremely depressing. ISO: all the Night Stalker. Love that beer so much.

How much did the Pipeworks snifters cost at Capone's? I'm assuming these were gone last night but let me know if I'm wrong. I'd love to track down a couple of these to hook some people up.

As of 1 hour ago, they tweeted that they were gone but they "will reach out to Pipeworks and try to score more."
