STOUTLY CUP: For the first time ever we've added a competition aspect to Stout Fest--this year attendees will be able to vote for their favorite beer! The winning brewery will then take home the Stoutly Cup, to proudly showcase their achievement at their brewery until the next Stout Fest.

NEW LOCATION: Due to renovations at the Clybourn Brewpub, this year's festival has been moved to our Wrigleyville Brewpub.

I don't need whales, but it's disheartening when Three Floyds, Piece, Flossmoor, Solemn Oath, or Haymarket aren't even on the list. I know there's still some TBA breweries, but I imagine those breweries won't be showing up if they aren't announced already.

$35 last year with much better breweries. I can't recall what it was the year's before that.

i suppose they can afford to raise prices five dollars if you have what amounts to a guaranteed, instantaneous sellout if there's even a rumour of a bourbon county variant of any kind appearing. hope these new guys pleasantly surprise us all.

3 Floyds used to bring Topless Wytch, which is pretty funny. Piece never brings anything special. This is also the first time I have ever heard anyone complain that Solemn Oath wasn't going to be at a fest.

Overall, Flossmoor used to bring some interesting stuff, but nothing amazing. I guess I will miss Haymarket if they don't show, but whatever?

I guess what I was trying to say is I'd rather have some of the better breweries like the ones I mentioned than **** like Ten-Ninety, Pig Minds and Lucky Monk. I know they're local, but that doesn't make them good.

One year, FFF brought Slave Princess. That was fun. Or, different, if nothing else.

That could have been the same year Revolution brought Very Mad Cow and Marco and Matty just keep drinking tallboys of PBR kept cold in those coolers they use for tap lines. That was also fun.
