Sorry I meant, not many reviews on any of the other sites. They are all 3 in RB with CF having 1 review but none for the other 2.
And if I recall, the reviews they have aren't particularly glowing.

Upcoming releases from Revolution:
11/6 - Local Hero, This IPA is brewed with Centennial, Cascade, Chinook, and Nugget hops, all from our friends at Hop Heads Farms in Hickory Corners, MI
&
Continuing Resolution, a Belgian blonde ale made with Ardennes yeast. Brewed to "celebrate" the end of the government shutdown, this beer was made from the second runnings of Congressional Approval wheat wine

11/13 - Co-Conspirator, our Infiltrator Dopplebock aged in Appleton Estate barrels

11/20 - Congressional Approval, a strong and sweet all-malt wheat wine approaching 10% ABV

11/27 - Rise, American Stout with notes of chocolate and coffee

I got sidetracked at work and missed the Black Friday tickets. If anyone is holding, I'm looking.

Via social media: "... We sold out but are working on getting beer for more sessions. Stay tuned."

For those that enjoyed Flat 12's BA stuff at Great Taste they are coming to FOBAB and according to some of the bartenders, "trying to replicate the success of Great Taste." They wouldn't get into any beers specifically, but they told me to remember the name "Cheetah Intercourse."

Didn't have any Flat 12 at Great Taste. How and what were their beers?

On a FOBAB note: Bobby from PW said they haven't decided on what their bringing yet. But he said he tasted Hyper Dog, Nisperos, and the Wee and that they are tasting amazing. Also: having Cascade PW 24 hours after bottling is awesome!

Has anyone had anything by Only Child? I heard pretty solid things, but with BCBS coming up I'm not looking to buy $8.99 bombers for a taste.

My beer purchases for the rest of the year are basically only for BCBS and BB Plead the 5th.

Maybe some Off Color...

Yeah, I'm definitley going to do some Off Color, but mainly it'll be BCBS. I'll be lucky if I can make it 4elf....

Already bought my room, so I'm in. Strongly debating not going to Black Friday now and instead liquidating my cellar for Backyard Rye and Proprietors. I don't suspect Coffee or Barleywine will be too much trouble for me.

I too will probably be unloading my cellar for everything BCBS (if I can get rid of stuff for normal BCBS, Coffee or Barleywine with out having to spend cash I'm game for that as well).

I think this may have been mentioned before, but ... the new batch of Ninja vs. Unicorn is really freakin' good.

Is this available in the city? I don't remember ever seeing any of their beer before?

Thanks, I'll have to keep an eye out for them. Unreleated--did I completely miss Le Terroir? Usually Lips of Faith beers sit around for a while, but for some reason I haven't seen this anywhere.

No, it hit the suburbs awhile ago, but I just saw it at LP Binnys last night for the first time. They had a lot for 8.99.

There was a upc screw-up and it's selling for way below normal price I guess. NB confirmed the mistake via twitter I saw someone post. Like MCC1654 said $9 or even less I guess.

According to Time Out Chicago there is only 300 bottles of Goose Island Brettanomite and the price point is $20. With the release date on Saturday and with people in town for FoBAB, I don't see this lasting long.

...and new stuff for today:

Revolution
Our Nov. 6 release is Local Hero, an IPA we brewed with hops from our friends at Hop Head Farms in Hickory Corners, MI.

Get it on draft at our brewpub or tap room. Local Hero is also available in 22-ounce bottles.

I'm still trying to coordinate how I'm going to hit that and FoBAB. I need to find a place to drop the bottle off so I don't have to carry it around or leave it with the coat check at FoBAB.

Oh, and all by public transport since there's no way in hell I'm driving to FoBAB.

I'm drinking Off Color Troublesome right now, and holy hell it is delicious! I've never had a gose before but I am really enjoying this. I'm also happy that A) it's not an IPA and B) it comes in a sixpack. It's really nice to pick up something new and be able to feel that you can trust the people doing the brewing not to suck, and then not be one bit disappointed.

Also, the labels are beautiful.
