My favorite blended margin example was like 5 years ago when Target Elston was selling Todd the Axeman for less than cost. Yet everyone was going there, buying it, and probably picking up toothpaste, deodorant, and other things in their basket while they were over there. Smart.

Back when this was a beer forum we used to talk about not finding Girardin. Its on lots of local shelves atm. Next to the 3F and Tilquin. If only people still drank that stuff.

Back in the day, they'd send around 16 cases to Chicago once a year. I'd get half at Marcey, Cutler at Piece would order some, and then the other cases would get split out to whomever knew it existed. When i took over at Publican there was less available and i could only get 2-3 cases. Weird it's on shelves.

On a related note, go buy Drie Fonteinen & keep me in business. Thx in advance!

Got a couple of 2018 Girardin bottles at Beer Temple yesterday.

Grabbed a couple of crowlers yesterday when picking up Thundertaker. Froh and Point Du Sable were both top notch. Really miss getting to drink these small batch beers at the Taproom on a quiet Thursday afternoon.
