Alright...where’s it located and when can old curmudgeons with MBA’s, CBS cards or talkbeer screen names drink at it?

Goose replied that it is at a "secret location"...so basically it's at their barrel house on Sacramento.

On another note, what's up with event on Thursday at The Bungelow?

nothin fancy, just a bunch of foeder beers on tap from imperial oak, 2nd shift, transient, marz & maplewood. we aint tappin anything new, just the pub beer. new foeder ferments and wildz starting in a couple weeks on our three bad boys.

I'm sure whoever is there had a blast with the storm that rolled through a little bit ago.

I heard they stopped the bands, stopped serving food, shut down the taps, asked people to evacuate the tents, and stopped letting people in for 2 hours.

Lots of angry beer nerds on a certain Facebook group.

when are they going to figure out that this event should be another time of the year. spring in the midwest is too unpredictable.

LOL @ thinking beer people understand basic business concepts even after hosting this thing for 15 years.

Well got free entrance to dld since i didnt want bottles. Fortunately was sitting at a picnic table with umbrella when storm rolled through. People suck though, huge pissing contest everywhere. Had some awesome guest taps though, vsoj and derivation 11. Likely my last time going. Just went for a couple hours, that was enough for me.

Had a non-DLD party at my house for the second year in a row. Less rain. Nothing was stolen, no one shat themselves (that I am aware of?), no puke on my lawn.... I think we will call that a success. No live metal. Will probably stick to this plan until someone talks me into attending Hanson day/Hop Jam.

Draft list, Silent Auction, and Raffle prizes really starting to come together for next weeks event at The Green Lady. Thanks to all of you who have reached out. Apologies for the absolute blitz of plugs you'll see from me in Chicago forums over the next week.

Running list here:
