why not release them on like tuesday or wednesday morning?
You're right. This does look better when more people are at work.

Late September (about a month earlier than last year) with distro this time. This is the sort of action that justifies brand loyalty!
But no seriously: I appreciate it because otherwise I might have to meet Scalzo in a parking lot again...
I am also confused why a business would maximize their profits by doing product releases when the maximum amount of people might attend. This is the dumbest decision I've seen a business make since that time the Beer Temple told us about an event they were holding.
I’ll be at NIN all three nights. Tacos & Beer meetup at Big Star?
Per earlier discussion:
"And by a hair, the favorite among our taste-testers is Deep Dish Pizza (Heartland, Mid-America). No, we did not pick this because we live in Chicago and have a Chicago bias. In fact, we approached this flavor with more pre-judgment, and was surprised how much we liked it. We enjoyed the pronounced flavor of tomato and cheese, with a beefy undertow that makes for easy repeatable snacking. (It’s three-quarters the way to ketchup-flavored chips.)"

found out this morning that goose, lagunitas, wicked weed and the like are no longer welcome at GABF. I guess they give the umbrella one entry lottery pick last year for booths and forbid them from buying featured endcap booths.GABF is still selling endcap row booths. That's typically where the Goose Islands, Stone, Oscar Blues, St Arnold with their mini-church, and Dogfish Head typically end up.
if they taste like these, color me intriguedPer earlier discussion:

Anything I can do to contribute. Because that Vermont thread is about an empty kerosene tank and early frost discussion away from catching us.Thanks for getting this thread back on track!
JEG? Likes vanilla? ReallySo $350 memberships for a Chicago homebrewer that makes vanilla stouts sold out in one day. JEG says it is worth it though.

When you think about the fact that ~50% of those memberships were purchased solely in anticipation of having the most hype trade bait, it doesn't become too hard to believe.I've had a few of the Barclay beers, and while they are tasty, scaling up from homebrew batches to commercial size is always going to be a challenge for that kind of beer.
I'm kind of surprised there is still that much demand for clubs / memberships, but maybe that is just my jaded side.

Wait, people are buying 2 memberships!?!?!? Are some so desperate to have the hot new thing they're willing to gamble $700 on a yet to open commercial brewery, amidst about 6700 other breweries in the US, from a homebrewer who makes a few good beers in 5-10 gal quantities?!?! God Bless America.but the people that bought two memberships...

Apparently the only qualification these days to get funding for a brewery is to have 1 hot homebrew that a few dozen people love. This is like the 10th example of this model. It's like the J. Wakefield OG Society, if Wakefield was a near-complete unknown.

Welcome to today's mead world.Almost entirely driven by a trade market to boot though, right?
Woof.
So does this guy only make vanilla stouts? That would both incredibly original and unoriginal at the same time.
