Now if only Founders would can Breakfast Stout....
I'm guessing the train will be bouncing. Majority will be in green (insert Chicago sports team) joyzeys of course. At least the chicks will be wearing a little less with the warmer weather though.
I always think of St. Patricks Day in Chicago as NYE but warmer - you get amateur drinkers who don't understand it's a marathon not a sprint and women are not dressed seasonally appropriately.

I will further confirm that the Institutionalized w/ coconut is not for me. Nice use of coconut - I hate coconut, though.

That's a negative, especially with ZD.

Does 18th St. fill growlers? Maybe you can send them one of their IPAs/pales?
Yeah, the first thought in my head was "a growler of ZD, what is he, crazy!?" But then I thought I remembered talk months ago about the addition of a growler fill line. Good call on the 18th street though

They did put in a fancy growler filling device back when they built the new to-go area, but I recall them having issues with it or something and then just abandoned it altogether due to holding the line up. Plus the prices for the fills were always prohibitive vs. just buying a sixer.

So, I head to the 18th Street website, and I'm blasted with this, front and center:

"Hunter Cherry is back! On sale at noon today (Friday the 13th)- 4 bottle limit $13 cash only."

#newmoney (and yet I didnt see a mention on ccbe)
CCBE's been slipping. While they put Vanilla Rye @ Local Option on blast pretty quickly today, they totally missed Prop @ Whole Foods yesterday. And not a single "WLV HAS PARABOLA RUNRUNRUNRUN!!!1!!1!!one!!1!!eleven!!!" post to be seen this afternoon either.

Maybe people are finally realizing that when they post drafts on CCBE, they don't even get a chance to buy a second pour.

Did someone already post this (cc thewimperoo )? Haha lol j/k... Such a good beer.

Well.....Parabola is hitting some Binny's already.
Let's see how long they last this year.

I love FW. I do. But I have too much pride to start harassing the local beer guys so far ahead that I can (maybe) get a tip that helps me land a beer released over a week early.

"Do you have Parabola?"
"It's not released until over a week from now."
"Yeah yeah yeah but do you have it?"

Next man up.

Will be campaigning for after-fest excursions. I can pied piper a drunk troupe to someplace cool if not completely obliterated. Feel like I need to take advantage of nice Sattyday in Chicago at 4 in the afternoon.
I'm riding back out to Tinley for the UFC at Pastas parents if you were so interested.

I cannot offer to drive you out to Wilmington afterwards.

John at Hyvee would kill you.
