I made this mistake with Mango Magnifico and then again with Tiberian Inquisitor. Still got bottles of both sitting around... ugh.

LOVED Mango Magnifico. If you're looking to get rid of a bottle or two, shoot me a message. I'd be happy to make a trade for that.

Can someone screenshot that ****? I can't see it and I want to save it.

No better way to start the day than calling my local Binny's to ask if all Binny's had Surly Abrasive today or just Lincoln Park and having Marty act like I was speaking Swahili. The best he could end up offering was I'm assuming we'll see it at some point. Always on top of it Marty!

I guess I could have told him who I was and he might have been more helpful. Honestly, that's kind of bogus though. He should treat all callers/patrons equally in regards to information. I shouldn't have to know him to have him actually be informative. Also, Darkness was available for nearly 2 days out here, so why be supercovertsecretive about Abrasive?

The lack of transparency from Surly as to what batch Chicago will be getting is concerning. We have a chance of seeing cans dated from a month ago hitting today, though I hope we see cans from this month instead. If anyone grabs some throughout the day, please post the canned date!

EDIT: To clarify, my concern was the rumor about mid-January cans having a carbonation issue. My concern did not have to do with freshness of 2 weeks vs. 4 weeks, etc.

Yet another Penrose BA stout release factoid: confirmation that there are significantly more bottles of BA stout than any of the Wilds. Please don't interpret this as some sort of promise that you can show up at 2PM that Saturday and get bottles. Merely saying that there is a lot more to go around.

One month old malt-heavy IIPA? FUCKTHATSHITI'MCALLINGFORABOYCOTT.

Every post about canning dates brings me one step closer to pulling the trigger on that new dontdrinkbeer shirt.

While I do think talking about a month old vs. two weeks old is kind of absurd I'm not sure I follow logic of hating on canning dates altogether? Unless your post was strictly talking about those one month vs. two week posts then by all means, carry on with the hate.
