Tickets moving this fast and the pool of folks going for tickets slightly diminished due to Hunahpu's Day taking place at the same time.

Only going to get worse.
also add in the fact that the size of stout fest & ticket count is probably doubled because theyre are shutting down the whole pub....

FWIW, I remember tickets for the previous Stout Fest moving just as fast last year for MBA members (and obviously, Public sales too)

Are you planning to travel to Chicago specifically for Stoutfest?
No, I'm originally from Chicago and I travel back every few weeks to help my mom who is ill. I don't have specific plans to travel that weekend, but I figured that it's entirely possible that I'd be back in town anyway.

I got the Stoutfest tickets.

I can't make Polar Beer Fest (but really enjoyed it last year) and think I might be passing on Day/Night this year instead. That fest definitely has seemed like more of a let down the last couple years than Stout Fest.. just my 2 cents.

See you and jeblikesbeer at Stoutfest, hopefully I'll be moving around somewhat at that point otherwise the LT is going to be fighting the rest of the neckbeards for my BCS ticks.

You can be the "home base". Hopefully you'll have a cane to beat off any bros that come by (Yes, beat off).

Well, prayers for your mom first and foremost and if you are in town that weekend, we can dome some stouts.

Bummer, got my 2 in the cart and put in payment info but when I hit confirm it said they were sold out.

EDIT: A friend saw I whiffed and hooked me up with a ticket. Hell yeah!

Just wanted to give a heads up to you city dwellers or burbanites downtown tomorrow, but my good friend Rizdac who some of you may know from the ABVChicago podcast is having their 1st Anniversary party at Beermiscuous tomorrow from 6-11.

20% of the evening's purchases will go to Imerman Angels, a one-on-one cancer support charity for those stricken with this BS disease.

Real solid taplist and Windy City Patty Wagon for grub. Should be a great time.

I want all of the middlebrow.

This city needs a saison festival.

EDIT: In case it wasn't clear, get to work.

I consider saison/farmhouse ales my favorite style to drink above all else. For point of reference, I have 28 bottles that are either definitely defined as saisons or loosely considered farmhouse. Of those 28, 6 could be obtained through our local distribution. 3 from Transient, 1 from Allagash, 1 from Fantome, and 1 from Birra Del Borgo. I can think of Perennial, Anchorage, Penrose, Goose Island, Jolly Pumpkin, Ommegang, Prairie, and Pipeworks as other folks in our distro that even produce saisons. It would be tough to do here without getting a significant number of breweries that don't sell beer in Chicagoland to come aboard.

If I have one complaint about Chicago, it is that very few breweries here make an acceptable Saison.
Not bein a boastful bitch but have you tried middle brows robyn. It's closer to belgian blonde but I worked 20 iterations of it to get nice saison qualities. I'd be interested in your feedback, **** I'll send Ya a bottle. PM me, Shamelessness over.
