Fermenting bucket

Hey everyone,

I bought two 6 gallon buckets of wine juice and want to transform the buckets into fermenters. There are rubber gaskets around the lid and has some sort of airlock but I'm not sure if it's appropriate for brewing.

The first picture is the inside the second is the top.

Will it work or is there a way I can jerry rig it?

I use wine juice buckets for fermenting everything. You can buy airlock grommets, simply drill the appropriate hole and push the grommet in.

Yes Lowes sells them too.

ABout $5 for the bucket and a couple of bucks for the lid. Made of HDPE food grade.
