My Blonde Ale has been in fermentation for over two weeks now. Two days ago, I decided to take the lid off to see how it looked (it looked delicious). After the first four or five days, there was no airlock activity whatsoever, nor were there any tiny bubbles clinging to the sides. Now, after re-sanitizing the airlock and lid and putting it back on (without moving the wort even an inch...it never got touched and never moved, as I very carefully put the lid back on without any vibrations) the airlock has one large bubble escape every ten minutes or so. There are also a ton of tiny bubbles clinging to the insides of the airlock.
Obviously my yeast has awoken...possibly from the heat? It was at 73F for a while, and when I just now looked it's 77F. I'm going to fill the tub and put ice bottles in.
