So I have a 7cuft chest freezer that I installed into a Ranco temperature controller. It has been working awesome as a fermentation chamber for the 2 months Ive had it. I just noticed that now it cant even get below 70 degrees in the freezer and I think the thing is busted. Ive been trouble shooting some ideas to fix it and none have worked. Is there a way I can still put the freezer to use as a fermentation chamber if it is not fixable? I also need ideas where I can leave it unattended for 1 to 2 days at most for work. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!

Can you plug the freezer in to see if it works without your ranco? Does the freezer have any controls in it by itself? It's possible depending on your cycling rate that the freezer compressor motor is shot.
