I am brewing my second ever batch of beer and of course messed something up!

I put a winter ale into a 6.5 G glass carboy and then filled a plastic air lock with sanitizing solution and placed on top. on the 2nd day of heavy fermentation i woke up to a clogged air lock filled with debris. When i went to remove the air lock to replace with a blow off tube, the liquid inside (part sanitizer part wort) fell into my new batch!

Will the sanitizer affect the taste???? Should i bottle when done fermenting or trash and start a new??

Please help!!!!!

When lagering, sanitizer often gets sucked down into people's brew and they have no problems, you shouldn't have problems either.

You have absolutely nothing to worry about. I use StarSan and slop that stuff all over the place. When wiping down open wine fermenters it runs down into the must. It's perfectly safe.
