I'm hoping to culture the brett from the dregs of bottle of Evil Twin Femme Fatale Brett. Does anyone know, or have a good guess as to the strain(s) of brett used in this beer?

Have you tried asking the brewer? They may be able to tell you, or at least give you some information to point you in the right direction.

if i had to guess i would say brett brux, but it doesn't really matter. brux, custerianus, anomalus, etc are species - not one specific kind of yeast, it's a family like saccharomyces cerevisiae. there are many, many strains of brux (some say more than sacch). it really is the equivalent of you asking someone what yeast they used in a beer, and them answering saccharomyces cerevisiae... not very useful.

instead of saying it's brux or whatever, it is more informative to say you have Femme Fatale brett. that is a more meaningful reference point.

I disagree, somewhat, only since the strain they use might be commercially available, especially with all the new yeast labs that are propagating from commercial bottles. That's like saying if you asked Boulevard what yeast they used for their Saison, they would reply "saison yeast," when I'm pretty sure it's Wyeast 3711 (I think they're the one's I'm thinking of, I might be confusing saisons.)
