Ok. I’m in. Super noob! But I’ll give it a shot - I’ve got something that should be conditioned and ready in time

Like PianoMan mentioned, homebrew trades are less risky than retails. Your in if nobody has any problem with it. How many different brews do you expect to have?

Whew. I’d really appreciate participating - I’ve only had family/friend feedback, and one really not good entry into the Minnesota State Fair. If it’s easier to begin, I’d love to simply bottle some brew and send it to folks for feedback - no trade necessary.

At the moment, have a single IPA to offer.

You can PM me your process if you like. Certainly a sample sent my way would help. Most here have phenomenal home brews, better then most retails and/or ultra creative brews. Congrats on moving past friends/family!

I am ecstatic where we have taken this idea! This round is where I had hoped we would get; it's the start of building a larger network of taking homebrews with like minded people.

With that, TO ALL OF THE NEW GUYS read the first post, then read it again, and then click on the link to the first round HBT FotHB, read the entire thread, then move along to the next round until you are caught up. Read every page of every thread. ONLY ONCE YOU HAVE DONE THAT should you ask to join, and for those already joined, do it to make sure you still to join this type of trade.

Not being a prick, just making sure you understand what you are committing to.

Thanks for the warm welcome TwistedGray! I have been looking through all of the past FOTHB trades over the last few months and am super excited to finally be taking the plunge and getting involved!

One question though... It says "Minimum offerings are 4-12oz bottles of your favorite Home brew; ANY beer style along with ciders, meades, hard lemonades, sours, etc."

Is this 1 bottle per style for a grand total of 4 bottles per shipment or 4 bottles per style for a grand total of 16 bottles? I have a pretty strong hunch about the answer but I figured I should be sure before I send the wrong amount.

I look forward to getting involved in this trade and future trades with you guys!

Cheers!
Casey

It’s a minimum of 4 - 12oz bottles total, of as many styles that you have. People can, and do send more. Check out some previous rounds to see what was sent.

That's what I thought. I've got several things I'd like to share. Just not sure if I can match the creativity of previous offers.

Regardless, I can't wait to see what awesome brews you guys have to offer!

Cheers!

Count me in this round. This homebrew turned out nicely! Now I need to get off my butt and bottle some of these homebrews for the lucky person. Cheers!

Wow. I remember the 7 (8?) person roun. This is awesome.

Also, I am for four bottles being four bottles of any amount if styles. If you brewed three good ones and two ‘practice’ ones you do not have to debate putting in beer you don’t want to versus joining.

Of course you can also drop a bottle of not as good in and ask for feedback. I don’t turn down free homebrew ;)

I'm all for mediocre or "bad" homebrew as long as it's not toxic. I've brewed my fair share of mediocre and dumpers and learned from them. Don't mind learning someone :)

A truly happy day when more here then FotD. That has nothing to do with me starting the thread! ;)

In the mean time...wondering why I'm slowing down on the FotD thread? AND I'm the only HB drinker in the family. Two of those are my 6gal yeast "Starters" for much bigger beers...I have no problem, right?

Where's my sticker?

I haven’t had a chance to convert it to a magnet yet. I have the sheets of magnets with an adhesive side. When I have enough stickers to fill a sheet, I’ll slap them on, cut them out and place them on the kegerator/fermentation chamber. This way if it dies on me I don’t lose my collection. That already happened once.

Yeah, mine died 3 weeks ago, just got new one, but i moved kegs to root cellar...48 degrees in wisconsin during Jan, so still had pucnic taps to enjoy homebrew

Speaking of stickers, anyone know a good AND cheep place to load up on various brewery stickers for the Keggorators?

1 brew kegged 3 more to go then 3 more brews to plan for....time to quit work again.

Want mine?

Not sure if they can be saved but I recently scored this Kegerator with taps and fittings for only $75. Personally, I've never been a fan of decorating with brewery stickers so assuming I can get them off cleanly, I'll gladly send them to you.

I was about to officially pull out of the trade with my hops getting destroyed and all my grain getting infested with larva. But! I found 4 bottles of raspberry peach apple gose lurking in the back of the fridge. And 4 bottles of a mixed fermentation sour. I have an oaked ginger bread brown in the keg. Plus the Dipa I'm crushing grain for now. Heck, I'm almost there!
