Yeah fruit sours prices are out of control. Goal is to mimic some this summer. Will be starting with Berliner Wiess fruit styles. Got to get past this home improvement work and brew pub build.

I've looked at a couple different BW recipes. Seems decoction mashing is the norm. Might have to pull out the full grain setup again. The training wheels thread is a great start. Reminds me I need to brew the next one before my DME goes bad.
Does that left handle have an insert or something? (Where “BugEaters” is)Oh man! Check out these bad azz custom handles from @FloppyKnockers!! Coming my way soon.

I haven't got them shipped yet but think so. Those are the original names of the Nebraska team.Does that left handle have an insert or something? (Where “BugEaters” is)
Drink the Nimble, ASAP. The Impending Descent, in my experience, is good either fresh , or cellared. It's rich, and a meal in a bottle. You shouldn't regret it, either way. It's fantastic. But not a summr beer. At least hold onto it until the leaves fall.RevKev delivered a porch bomb today. I don’t even know where to start.
Still deciding which ones to chill and which ones to cellar.

So that was delicious. Very subtle with both the fruit and the sourness. Highly recommended.
A+.
Would make @TwistedGray ship to me again.
Minor casualties prior to shipping... I'm glad those all made it there, I'd do the Tahiti first [emoji482] cheers my friendRevKev delivered a porch bomb today. I don’t even know where to start.

Figured this was a good enough place to post this. I’m looking for a small side trade for either zombie dust or Pliny the elder (or both).
Got a family member having a birthday in late July and would like to try one or both of them. I’m thinking a 4 or six pack if possible.
I can send nebco, sip o sunshine, bad sins, two roads, or something like that. Let me know if anyone can help hook me up.
@CTownBrewer side trade package landed! Everything made it in once piece and some of the beers were sweating still!
Get the pic later when I can line it all up!!
That insulated bubble wrap is no joke. Just reused it from a previous trade...might have been from fourfarthing. I’ll need to get some more! It always makes me nervous shipping IPAs cross country this time of year.
Sours are apparently worse, or at least those with metric tons of fruit (their words, not mine).
Pic decided it doesn't wanna attachView attachment 576686
I keep seeing these awesome boxes y'all post and I'm about to piss my pants for the next round! I want IN!!!!
I know @Boomer was tied up with some family in town, so he was going to ship mine after they leave.
I’m not in a rush either...just consolidated & organized my cellar/chest freezer over the weekend. I’ve got plenty of beer to hold me over. I also found a few beers I didn’t realize I had for next round!
So much this. It is a trap, an expensive trap at that, but totally worth it. If I lay my hands on done King Sue, I'lll be back for the next round. It’s a trap. They put addictive drugs in the beer so you keep coming back for more! Run while you can
