What farms in the fall will have cider for me to buy to make hard cider with? and how much do they charge. Im on long island.

Most if not all farms on the island pasteurize and sorbate there ciders. which means you wont get to much luck finding pre juiced apples for hard cider.

On the other hand the amount of farms on the southern fork is insane, northfork for grapes, south fork for apples.

Get a couple of bushels in the fall and press your own cider, best part about this is that if left in a covered (with airlock) fermenter will start to ferment from the natural "local" yeast on the apples.

I will be doing that this year. From Apple to Glass!
