I'd be in too! I think we may want to limit the football league to ten teams. Having 12 teams thins out the rosters a lot if I recall correctly.

I agree. Also, we have 2 teams that aren't doing much in our baseball league....

So is that really fair at this point? I can go either way with this. I'd rather have 12 solid teams, not sure what happened to the Galways owner-hope all is well on his end...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but The guy said he NEVER was contacted by you...you said you contacted those interested (via the other thread) So who's correct?

I mean Carson just got his 10th win by "beating" the Galways this past week...

The way I feel is that I want a competitive league. If we get someone on board who will carry a currently 0-11 team into next year, we have someone dedicated to add to the league.

He just emailed his info to me. I'll wait to hear from you guys to see how the rest of the league feels.

I'd vote yes-the way I see it is that we had a similar situation before and it turned out for the best! Ray stepped in when that buttfawker dropped all his players and has improved our league by commanding the Freem80's...

I hope the new owner will make the best of his team(which has some good players) and be in it for the long hual.

Anyone else looking at their team and cringing at the next player to have DTD next to their name?

It's getting to that point in the season where the body starts to break down.

Magglio Ordonez DTD
Troy Tulowitski DL15
Brian Anderson DL15

This is confirmation that we've made a wise decision!!

I changed the team name to Bayou Brewers at Guidry's request. He has temporarily been invited as a second owner. I'll delete the deadbeat owner once Guidry accepts.

I didn't want to just delete the first owner without having Guidry on yet. I thought the universe may have imploded or something.

How do you track your score on a bye week. When I had my bye weeks, I couldn't access my score.

you just look at your team...it shows your box score

How do you track your score on a bye week. When I had my bye weeks, I couldn't access my score.

It's at the bottom of the Scoreboard tab, in teeny - tiny print. It links to your box score for the week.

So it looks like Cliff Lee will be wearing Pinstripes tonight! I have to tip my hat to the Yankees, they are the best team in baseball history for so many reasons. Leadership on the field and in the front office keeps the Bronx Bombers heads above the rest of the competition.

So the Mariners acquire Montero(Catcher/AAA),Adams(2B/AA), and probably another prospect for "Old faithful" Cliff Lee. Good news for Carsons' Urban Achievers and for my friend and former teammate P.J. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. The ONLY reason they are good is because of money. With a level playing field they don't even compete in the MLB because of how poorly they are run.
