Factoring in extracts?

I am preparing to do a full boil for my next batch, I've never used this technique before. I am currently using beersmith to calculate the water needed. Do I figure in the extract additions into my volume to end up with a final 5 gallon batch?

I've never used beersmith, but BeerTools lets you just punch in what your final volume should be and it'll tell you what you need preboil. You'll need around 6 gallons depending on your evaporation rate.
