I personally dig the look of a full beard on myself but it interferes with bedroom festivities (I think you understand).

The weird thing is that I have a beard probably two weeks out of the year but my driver's license and passport are both bearded pics.

Hate shaving so... I leave it go for a few days until I decide to shave it usually.

I've had a beard most of my life. Not a big bushy thing, just nicely trimmed. Lots of hair was important back in my formative years (the 70s). The beard just stayed with me. The wife likes it, the kids would freak if I ever shaved it off. They've never seen me without it.

Yup...military here too. But you better believe I let 'er go on days off and holidays ;)

I hate shaving but having a beard bugs me even more. I usually split the difference and shave every 2-3 days when the scruff starts bugging me too much. Definitely not the best thing for my appearance but its what I can put up with.
Maybe I should consider that laser hair removal? :)

My dad's like that. He has worn a mustache all my life (35yrs). I'm not sure I would recognize him without the mustache.
He used to grow a beard in the winter until it started turning white. I can tell from my stubble that If I tried to grow a beard there would be a ton of white in mine also.

I go between mustache and goatee in the summer to full beard in the fall and winter months. It's been 20+ years since I've been clean shaven.

I have to hide my multiple chins. :D

SWMBO just made me shave my moustache. I can't imagine why:

Photo%2055.jpg

Spring - moustache and soul patch
Summer - clean or sometimes same as Spring
Fall - Van Dyke
Winter - moustache and beard trimmed short and shaved just below my jawline

I get bored.

Military, so no facial hair except on weekends and leave. I almost checked the puberty answer as well, because it takes awhile before anything substantial shows up.

Voted yes, but only because I have a mustache. I don't care for the little goutiest or what ever you call them on the chin, or the (3 day) beards, but I do like the fully grown (10 + years) beards.

Just my opinion.

I watched La Mustache last night, the entire movie was about a guy who goes through an existential crisis after shaving off his mustache. Facial hair can do some weird things to people.

Yeah, my wife says that I turn into my evil twin when I have my goatee (ala Star Trek) and well...I kinda do!

:drunk:

I grow it out when I want to mess with her or she's pissing me off!

:cross:

I just shaved off my beard, but left the goatee.
In the 18 years my wife and i have been together, she's only seen me without a goatee twice. And the last time, she ordered me never to shave it off again.

So, facial hair +1
Hiding double chin +1
Look weird without it +1

I don't think I could grow a beard if my life depended on it, although I can manage a pretty sleazy looking 'stache if need be. SWMBO says there's never an occasion to warrant that...

The rest of the hair on my head grows like crazy! I chopped off 12" of hair around the new year (donated to Wigs For Kids), but still rock a pony tail.

I work the Graveyard and Watch my toddler during the day so I shave once every couple of weekends so I normally got the Hank Jr goin on, The SWMBO likes it so I just leave it.

Slow day in the office, so I'm bumping threads. :D

Depending on the season, it's either a goatee or a full beard. The last time I saw my chin was my wedding day.
