Hey guys,
I have an extract recipe that I was hoping you guys could help me convert to all grain. It is a simple saison recipe, based off the collaboration beer 'Saison Du BUFF'.
The recipe calls for 6 lbs Pilsen light DME, with an addition of 1 oz Willamette hops at 60 min., and the addition of around 1 tsp each of fresh Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme at the end of the boil. Ferments with WLP565 Saison yeast.
This is my first all-grain brew, and figured this should be a nice, easy one to start with. Especially since the recipe suggests packaging the beer fresh after only about a week in the fermenter.
So I guess my question is, what would you guys suggest to be a good substitute (in grain) for 6 lbs. pilsen light DME?
Thanks in advance!
