No kidding! When I first set foot into the LHBS, the staff stared at me like I had two heads or something. Almost didn't want to go inside for fear of interfering with the testosterone brigade. ;)
 
My LHBS is kind of like that, too, except it seems to be a family run thing and there's a gal who works there most days.

I don't know why brewing doesn't appeal to more ladies. Five gallons ain't that heavy.
 
i know in TX, most ladies go for a margarita or that flavored malt beverage swill. i have fully converted my wife! she shivers at the site of the big 3-5. hell, most guy's in TX go for the big 3.......

silly me, I've been punching a hole in the solar plexus... waste of time if you ask me.

As for the whole girls-only-drink-crappy-sweet-beer idea running through this topic; my wife suggested brewing my own to begin with; she wanted someting hoppier than the average Japanese beer.
