I wonder if I can use Fullers strain (Wyeast ESB) to ferment English IPA, or is it totally unapriopriate?

Then again, most of that alcohol warmth should come from your recipe, fermentation temps, and the age of your beer. All in all, the yeast strain should be just fine for the style.BJCP said:Some smooth alcohol warming can and should be sensed in stronger (but not all) versions.
