Letang's best offensive year on a team with Crosby, and Malkin, is 50 points (in 82 games in 2010/11).

+1. The 1st priority for a defenseman is to play defense.

The first priority of EVERYONE on the team is to win the games.
Karlsson does this by putting up 78 points and playing a decent defensive game.

Bottom line is that Ottawa wins more games because of Karlsson. Give him the Hart trophy as well!

Though as much as I REALLY hate to say it (and I mean REALLY), I think Ottawa has a legitimate chance of upsetting NY. They are better than an 8th seed should be, and the season series was 3-1 in their favor... anything can happen. Lundqvist has to be stellar if NY wants to advance.

It is a damn good thing Helm is back, even at 70% speed he is 50% faster than anyone else on our team. The third and fourth lines were non-existent without him and he adds a complexity that is hard to defend.
