Here's the point: The waived off icing call was correct, not a missed call. So you and the leeds fool should stop yammering about it like it somehow is the same as the missed offside.
Again I will say: The missed offside call, although it cost the Penguins a goal, should have been irrelevant to the outcome. No excuses. It was right after the 1st goal last night when I posted that the pens were starting to play sloppy, I didn't bitch and whine (like you would have) about a bad call.
You are b*tching and whining right now and continue to drivel out your "arrogance" as you try to console yourself about your team's inadequacies at the Consol Energy Center against the Flyers.
Crosby and Co continue to flop, exaggerate, embellish, etc to try to get power play time, that they can't score on instead of manning up and finding their heart and guts. They're a skilled team filled with a bunch of gutless cry baby individuals. Look at the OT goal. All these "seasoned, playoff-hardened warriors" like Staal, Letang, Fleury, etc just staring at the puck, not playing physical, and it cost them the game. Instead of fighting through checks and the physical play dished out by the Flyers, they slouched their heads like they were hurt, or blew their heads back like they took a Mike Tyson upper cut. These super stars who are so above everyone else in the league that we should just hand them the Cup now, can't even hold onto a 3-0 lead or play a full 60 minute game when their first 20 minutes was textbook domination and owning the opponent.
I was fine with having a friendly chat about the game and talking about the good and bad on both sides, but you continue to wear your Steel Town Blinders you bought at the souvenir shop.
Did I complain once last night about any of the penalties? Nope. I was disappointed about the Penguins dropping their game to embellishment and the officials falling for it.
Did I complain about the icing call? Nope, just stated that it started a sequence eventually leading to a goal and I can see how it was confusing for Coburn and the defense. Credit to the Pens for continuing to play as there was no whistle or assumption it was going to be blown dead as icing.
Seriously, if you can't talk about the game without trying to turn this into a playground slapping contest, then shut the f*ck up and join a Penguins support group where you all can jerk each other off taking turns wearing Crosby's jersey.
A number of people have commented they don't want to hear complaining about the officiating. Done, and the rest of us don't want to hear you cry yourself to sleep through the keyboard as you whine about the officials, the broadcasters, the analysts, and everyone outside Pittsburgh's fan base agrees that the call was confusing on the ice for the players, whether it was right or wrong. I don't care about the call, just stating the blatantly obvious that two officials giving opposing signs is confusing.
Here's a tissue.
