Enclosure size

I am in the process of getting my parts together to build a controller like this one. My question is should I go with a 16x16x8 and use kals layout in case I want to expand it down the road or save a few dollars and go with a smaller enclosure. It would save $50 to go with a 12x12x6

If you decide to expand buy a new enclosure and sell the old panel. Not a lot of fun trying to redo an old one in my opinion.

I'll take the opposite stance. Pick the largest enclosure you think you will need and plan ahead and you will be able to grow into your expansion needs.

get the bigger one, so much easier to work in, less swearing involved.
