Effect of irsh moss on head retention

Is it possible that irish moss could have a negative effect on head retention. Since head retention relies on the presence of proteins couldn't the irish moss be pulling those out?

I use it in all my pales and ipa's, absolutely zero affect on head retention.

I would have to say that unless you use an absurd amount of it you aren't going to run into any kind of retention problems

I use it in every batch. Head retention has never been an issue for me.
