I just started kegging, and, after doing some searching, found a fridge on Amazon that had the cooling moved and holes pre-drilled for keg conversion, without the extra regulator I didn't need, and keg tower I wanted to tweak. It was an EdgeStar BR2001 model.
When it got to the house, I discovered the mounting plate in the top was set up for their own twist-in setup. And, after doing some research, discovered that the four threaded spots that were included around the hole for mounting a tower without their setup were a new thing. Unfortunately, none of the documentation told me what size bolts the fittings accepted, and an email to the company was pointless. Also, it wasn't on Google, and that's why I'm putting this post here: For people who buy an EdgeStar BR2001 model in the future, and want to mount their own tower in the setting. So I used some extra bolts, made some guesses, and guessed right.
People of the future, here's the answer you're looking for:
#10-32 bolts. 3/4" long works fine. 1" might work, too, but those only came in packs of three at Home Depot, while the 3/4" was a 4-pack.
