I just bought a conical fermenter and I am wondering how much should I dump?

I have dumped a couple times now.

I filled a masonry jar up on the second time and put it in the fridge.

The first time I had a small container I dumped a small amount into.

The beer comes out extremely fast so I'm not sure when to stop dumping.

I guess I'm not sure if I should keep dumping until I get clear beer or if what I have dumped is sufficient.

Is their a certain amount like say 2 litres or something that should be dumped off?

I just dump until the beer starts to come out. Sometimes a good shake and another day of rest gets the yeast to drop back into the middle.

Mainly though, just dump every few days, the yeast needs to settle back into the middle portion

I have an Ebay one.

I think i have figured it out. Today when I did my dump I had a paste followed by liquid right after. I stopped when the liquid started to come out.

I have a jar full of 1056 I will use it for a blond ale I think next week.

Right now I have Chris Knights Corn Fed Blue Eyed Blond in my conical brewing 1 week old right now.

I also have Ed Worst House ale brewing in a 10 gallon primary

I used 1 pack of Notty and 1 pack of Safale 05 the notty was past its due date after I pitched I noticed this so I added a pack of safale to be safe. It took a matter of hours to start fermenting.
