Hey DDB--------- When are you visiting down under???? Can treat you to literal "shelf beers" of A&T, loons, and world class stuff from Red Oak and 2 meter tall. Of course it being Australia and all the imported stuff is cheaper.
Lots of non hoppy stuff down here to tick as well

dontdrinkbeer which beers (if any) did you serve at your wedding? I've been accumulating beer / glassware for the future occasion (the GF appreciates beer) but I'm worried that most attendees won't appreciate the offerings. Should I just keep for myself?

That is the worst time for that. Srs. Of anything rare beer is for bachelor party, even then I would advise against it. I served levitation and like blue moon I think. Absolute last thing I have a **** about and your guests won't give a **** either

Total waste all around

We're planning on having Bodhi on tap at our wedding, but nothing else crazy - we'd like to give away growlers of it to our friends at the end since we have to buy the keg anyways.

i served a homebrew and hopback at my wedding. a good friend of mine brought his rare and, honestly, it was more fun for him and the few people he shared it with.. i was hardly able to enjoy it what with being pulled in 209384572304 directions and all. i barely remember what it tasted like.

tl;dr (my 3 sentences) i agree with ddb. but if i had just said that my post would've been uber lame and i wouldn't have gotten any likes.

The venue/hotel we had our wedding at had a nice restaurant with solid craft options so I was able to pick from there. Had some Modus Hoperandi, Dale's Pale Ale, Robert the Bruce and Edmund Fitzgerald. I got really lucky and actually got a lot of compliments about the beer, but if I had to go out of my way for the beer selection everyone would have been drinking Miller Lite.

I opened a pizza port growler with groomsmen while getting ready, would do again.

Opened up 2007 kaggen and konjacks with my best man an hour before te wedding. Best decision second only to marrying my best friend.

dontdrinkbeer what did you think of flame broiler for your healthy lunch option? would you do it again? were you satisfied with the macros?
Flame broiler: chicken is very good, small pieces, used chop sticks and really tasty, hot sauce was not quite "magic" but adds zest to the savory chicken. Vegetables consist of some broccoli A touch of carrot and metric fuckton of cabbage. Srs hope you love cabbage. Used sweet sauce on it, not that good.

Now for the worst, brown rice was coarse and harsh, but worked for the best because zero self control needed to avoid the carby base.

All in all, pretty solid $10 meal, and feel good and nimble afterwards.
