So tomorrow I am making the lawnmower de saison all grain kit from midwest! I finally got my yeast starter equipment! I went ahead and started my starter. ImageUploadedByHome Brew1390958319.429836.jpg

Good luck buddy. Once you go all grain you won't look back. We did 4 extracts before going all grain and now we've brewed about 20 batches And love every minute of it.

So do I just let it keep spinning until I'm ready to pitch? I watched a video where someone let it sit and let all the yeast fall out of suspension, then dumping the beer and adding the yeast to the wort

You won't harm the yeast...those that don't have stir plates shake the crap out of their starters whenever they walk by. As for cold crashing and decanting it depends on the time you have. I usually dump the whole starter, but starter beer does not taste great. So some will let the starter run for 24-48 hours, put it in the fridge overnight to speed the yeast settling out, pour off the starter beer leaving enough to swirl the yeast back into the liquid, and just pitch the yeast. Done it both ways and have not noticed a difference adding 1.5L of starter beer to 5-6 gallons of wort. YMMV.

I'm going to start my brew tomorrow. I have the day off due to everyone freaking out about the possibility of snow in Savannah, GA (I grew up in the north so I find it comical).

Just let it run until you're done brewing and pitch the whole thing...don't forget to retrieve or lock the stirbar with a magnet first! You don't have time to cold crash and decant and looks like a fairly small started volume. Have fun brewing on Wednesday, ya lucky bastid =]
