Hello,
I have an IPA that's been sitting in the keg for about a month. The fermentation looked clean and no sign of infection during primary. But when I pour a glass the head of the beer looks very milky almost like an infection. I dont taste or smell any sour the only thing I notice is that I probably let too much oxygen into the fermenter. Seems stale.
I used the More Haze recipe kit from more beer and I used hothead horindal kveik yeast.
If it is infact infected I would like to know a good guess of the type just for curiosity sake.
Thank you.

You wouldn’t see an infection in a glass you pour, but a peek into an undisturbed fermenter can sometimes tell you there’s an infection. I doubt that’s your issue. If you taste cardboard then it’s likely what you said, with oxygen exposure. If it just has a vague stale impression it might also be age of the ingredients used, if they’re stale your beer will taste stale even if everything you did was perfect.

The beer looks good...as @Tobor_8thMan said looks like some over carbonation...looking at the recipe there is alot of wheat which generally gives you some good, fluffy head that sticks around for awhile.

Could be oxygenation but is there any other flavors that are jumping out at you?

The odd look of bubbles could also be soap residue from washing the glass. Its hard to tell from the pics but the beer appears to be darker then what its supposed to.

Do consider what Jag75 says. Tell us about your process of cleaning. Also, what is your method of sanitation?

What cleaners and sanitizers do you use?

Do you feel you rinse your storage containers and serving glasses well?
