I have a O2 bottle from an old oxy/acetylene torch set that I was considering using (with an in-line filter) for oxygenating wort. The thing is, it's been sitting around for I don't know how many years (10+ for sure). Do you think it's OK to use or should I trade it in on a fresh bottle?

Thanks for any input!

Those tanks usually hold their gas a long time, and O2 doesn't "go bad." However, the tank may be beyond its re-certification date. Take it in to a welding supply and have it checked out.
