Do you enjoy True Beer?

I buy kits from Hearts in Orlando and have en shipped to me. I do partial mash and use the recipes they've had at their shop for 30+years. Recently made my first two batches after a long hiatus from brewing. Both were excellent.

I see in addition to their recipes I see the now have True Beer kits that are also partial mash.

Are they any good? Does anyone here use them? I assume if they are selling them they don't suck. The guys at Hearts win awards with their house recipes.

The kits appear to use LME (in cans).

If you can get the kits fresh (or get a refund for stale product), it's worth a try.

Ohhh man what a thread, haha. I read through it last night, it gave me quite a laugh.. made me kick myself again for not joining this forum sooner, my join date is 2020 but I've been brewing since 2012, and I missed so much hilarity, I mean, good brewing advice as well..

Fred the Cat is on the AHA forum these days. Probably lots of hilarity over there. Maybe even a recipe for FtC Drywall Beer(TM).
