Do I need to refrigerate my cider?

I have some hard cider that is very close to being ready to bottle. I am wanting to age it for a few months or more at least and I am not sure if I can just bottle it and leave it in a cool dark place, or if i need to keep it in my fridge.

I hope not cuz I've had a spiced apple cider in my closet for almost 10 months lol.
