This is a general question. If I use a secondary to help clear up my wort, how do I know if I have enough yeasties to carbinate in the bottles? Do ever need to worry about this?

I read (somewhere?) that this may be something to worry about with lager brewing, but not ales. Thanks!

unless your beer has been in the fermenter for months and months and/or been close to freezing for a while. then no, you don't need to use yeast. actually i cold crash my beer as close to freezing as i can get for a several days and it still has enough yeast.

+1. Not unless your doing something pretty unusual will you have to add more yeast.
