So...
I used to have 2 great 5 gal carboys. One day whilst cleaning my equip, I decided to use a gallon jug of premixed star-san to sanitize one of the carboys. I reached under the sink, retrieved the jug, dumped it in, swished it around & dumped it out. It was then I noticed the smell. Murphy's Oil Soap. Dang it, I thought the floors looked awfully shiny.
Long story short: Is it at all possible to use a carboy for homebrew once it has been thoroughly cleaned with Murphy's Oil Soap? I could just kick myself.
Don't know if there's an answer out there...just had to vent.
