Did I make Vinegar, Wine, or Posion?

A few of my gallons got forgotten about way in the back of the cellar, the air lock obviously failed along the way, and a film/mold formed at the top of the liquid.
Should I throw it out, or did I make some vinegar by accident.
Looking for your advice & experiences.

That film does not look good. But back when I used to can figs and stuff, sometimes an old jar of preserves would have something like that on it. I just scooped off the stuff on top with the mold and ate what was below. It might be kind of hard to separate that top layer of stuff, but I would give it a try.
