Silly noob question: when a recipe has dextrose listed as an ingredient, is it added during the mash with the rest of the grains or is it added at the beginning of the boil? I'm doing BIAB method and was hoping to tackle a big IPA. Also, dextrose is just corn sugar/priming sugar, yes? Thanks in advance.

I don't think it matters. if you are using an electric heating element in the boil then make sure not to pour it on the element. If you are using a propane burner just make sure to stir and dissolve all the sugar.

I would suggest adding it 15 minutes before flameout and stirring a lot to disolve
