Before using a demijohn to age a beer should you prime it like when you bottle a beer?

Will this actualy improve the beer or show i add to it? If so what would you add? Sprey malt or yeast or honey or something else?

No need to prime it in the demijohn. Usually at some point, and before a couple of months, it would be better to just bottle it. Then age it in the bottles. Use oxycaps they will help you avoid oxidation while aging.
