I sampled a local bottled California Common that had a strange astringency that came on aprox 10 seconds after all the flavors including bitterness had gone away. Has anyone else tasted something like this? Any thoughts on the cause? It was literally taste the beer then wait for taste to come up. All 4 people sampling noticed this although I did have to point it out at first.
