Hi all!
This is my first post here, thanks for having me on!
Anyway,
I grow nugget hops in my backyard, and a couple of years ago I dehydrated and bagged a bunch of them. They're in ziplocks now inside of a cupboard at room temperature, never frozen.
My question is: Are they safe for brewing? I gave them the smell test, they smell fine, and they all have the same color as the day I stored them.
Let me know what you think!

Safe? Yup. Good? Probably not. Freezer storage is the only way to store hops. What you have are "aged" hops, the same thing sour and Lambic brewers use when the want the presentative properties of the hops without the bittering. The alpha acids have likely all faded from your hops, and since they're nugget, I doubt you wanted them for much more than bittering.
