As seen in the famous case of Pie v. Cake, I feel that food is not frivolous and should be allowed in the Debate section. Discuss.

I think it depends on how strongly you feel about pie v. cake. I mean, if pie v. cake is the same to you as Roe v. Wade or Gore v. Bush or Fly v. Batch; then yeah, I guess I can see why you would want it in the debate forum. But the debate forum is really only for a certain type of debate, not just all debate.

Food is one of the many defining characteristics of societies. I think that declaring that such a culturally important thing is "frivolous" shows an audacious lack of respect for diversity.

I guess I messed up the attachment. It was supposed to include a You Tube video of Stewie from the Family Guy where he pretends to be married. In the scene he comes home from work to dinner (playdough spaghetti, again), talks about work (being a cowboy and astronaut in the morning and a fireman ALL afternoon) and gets into an argument with his "wife" and complains about being in a sexless marriage. The girl responds "do you even know what sex is?" and he responds “It’s a kind of cake?" Pretty funny, if I find it again I will try to resend.
