Sampling the barleywine River's Edge is aging in the Jefferson's Barrel I picked. It doesn't suck, only two months old and tons of maple, marzipan and a trace of savory smoke in the back along with hop nudges and a zero carbonation right off the barrel thief. I am so excited for this one.
I almost never buy or drink Belgian saisons, but my brother picked this up for me on sale after he tried it and said it was tart. It's a little tart, but also has sweetness, nutmeg, and holiday spices. So while not my normal thing, it's not bad and has a drinkable body.
