So morning and evening edits are a lie?!

Don't do this to me.
No, I love editing. But I agree with tosh theory, getting a beautiful well composed shot with perfect light in camera is the goal. Why **** with it? It's a purist / simple way to look at shooting(life). Also, way more difficult.

But, the idea of manipulating a scene to bring out things greater than the eye can see is cool too.

I always feel bad because I don't know which is the before and which is the after... :oops:
Sometimes the differences are subtle like bringing up the shadows. It's more noticeable with night photos, here are two edits on a shot for my bathroom. Ended up using the blue one, but the one on the right is more of what it looked like in person.
