Agree 100%. 2016 was awesome and I think I have a bottle somewhere in the cellar... but 2016 was aged on oak. This unfortunately is a different beer that tastes like all their other saisons (and they're calling it a farmhouse ale lagered on house cultures, whatever that means).

I have one last bottle of 2016 in the fridge ready for drinking. The write up for 2016 said it was meant to be aged for the year. Maybe 2017 will turn into something better in time.

Lemony sour with a bit of earthy funk, nice hop presence on the back

Local GR treat here. Death to Flying Things, a barrel aged Imperial Stout from Mitten Brewing. Black licorice and chocolate with nice boozy barrel notes.
