DANGER TIME - How do we unlock the Z?

The writing on the wall has been there for a while, but now they announced it. The Zymatic/Z is in danger of becoming the Betamax of home brewing.

A while back, someone posted on how to unlock the Zymatic. Anyone know if there's information on how to unlock the Z?

Has anyone brewed since this news was launched? I plan on brewing Tuesday and read on another forum that someone could not connect to the server the other day on their Pico C. Im assuming if I can do a rinse that im good to go. Im also assuming that quite a few of you who have the z have a slight tightening in the throat right now about possibly being in the possession of a 2 thousand dollar paper weight.
