I've searched for several hours and haven't found a post to directly address this point, so I'll ask the question.
I have a Danby DKC645BLS-2. Until recently I've been just using one of the taps. Now I have a Dunkel Hefeweizen that about to come out of the fermenter and I want to set up the second tap. Unfortunately, Danby's instruction manual has no information on how to have your CO2 tank on the outside and run the second gas line into the kegerator. There is only one hole for running a gas line inside.
I suppose the easy answer is to just move the CO2 inside, but I don't want to do that. I'd prefer to keep it in the holder on the back. So, it looks like I need to drill a hole. I saw another thread where someone put a temperature probe hole just under where the gas line is on the upper left part of the back of the kegerator. If anyone knows if this is a safe place to drill, that would make this a pretty easy operation. Suggestions welcome.
