Hello all, I am not new to home brewing but I am new to kegging. I live in Chicago in a small apartment but I know I wanted to build something where I could keep kegs and dispense beer. I bought everything for my project from Amazon and Home Depot and the total cost was around $350.

Freezer- $250
Paint- $15
Wood- $15
Stain- $8
Polyclear finish- $3
Beer taps and shanks- $60
Gorilla glue and screws- $8

This project took 2 days including letting the paint dry. The lid is painted with chalkboard paint. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. The wood I used was a select pine board 1x4x12 that I picked up at Home Depot. My original plan was to buy 2x4 but the border on this freezer model was under 2 inches. It would not close properly with a 2x4. I am not a "handy man" yet this project was easy enough for me to take on by myself.

Super sleek look, I dig the black with the stained wood. What type of paint did you use?

I used 3 spray paints cans. 1 can of Rust-oleum chalkboard paint for the lid and 2 cans of Rust-oleum appliance epoxy. I taped off all moving parts and the little green light at the bottom. taping took a total of 5 minutes. I had extra paint so I also painted the inside of the lid and it came out really nice.

I built off the same model, and I am able to fit 4 ball locks, w/o CO2. I don't think the OPs build has enough height to put kegs on the compressor hump.

This is my build.
